We use a self-hosted analytics service for open-rtls.com to understand how the site is used, improve content, and maintain the website. Analytics is only activated after you explicitly consent through the banner shown on the live site.

If you accept analytics, our website sends pseudonymous usage data to analytics.tryformation.com. This may include:

  • a pseudonymous anonymous_id
  • a session identifier
  • the full page URL and page path you visited
  • the page title
  • the referring page, if one is available
  • standard browser request metadata that reaches the analytics collector, such as user agent, accepted language, and origin information
  • approximate location data derived server-side from the request IP address

We do not intend to send names, email addresses, account identifiers, or other custom directly identifying values from this website through analytics payloads.

Before you consent, analytics is not initialized and the analytics client does not create its pseudonymous identifiers.

If you accept analytics:

  • we store your consent decision in first-party browser storage so we can remember your choice
  • the analytics client creates a pseudonymous identifier in local storage
  • the analytics client creates a session identifier in session storage

You can withdraw consent at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer of the live site.

Where consent is required for analytics-related storage or measurement, we rely on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable rules on storing or accessing information on your device.

Recipients and hosting

Analytics data is sent to analytics.tryformation.com, which is operated for our own analytics purposes as part of our self-hosted analytics stack. The site is intended to reduce third-party exposure compared with outsourced marketing analytics platforms, but analytics data is still personal data in the broad GDPR sense when it relates to online identifiers and device metadata.

Retention

Our current operating assumption for this site is a retention period of approximately 90 days for analytics events. Our intended privacy posture is to avoid long-term raw IP storage while still allowing server-side derivation of approximate location metadata.

Your rights

Under applicable law, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time with effect for future processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
